Linda Chaney

Linda Chaney is an entrepreneur and an advocator of helping people live a fulfilling life. Linda was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. Linda's parents moved their family to Washington DC when she was four years old. Linda has been in the Metropolitan area and lives in Prince Georges County today.  She has a degree in Business.  In addition, Linda is one of the authors of The MLM Book Business of the 21st Century. She used to work at the United States Capitol, where she met her husband Thomas Chaney. Linda has three amazing children: Wayne, Io, and Daniel. 

 

Throughout her life, Linda as a young girl always did dance performances on stage at school. Linda likes to dream big for students and the families she serves. Linda understands the strengths of the dance world and cultural diversity, world expansion, and community involvement in our society. She has always used dance as an outlet and she eventually decided to turn her passion into a reality, which is how Evolution Dance Studio was founded.

Io Chaney

As Marketing Director of Evolution Dance Studio, Io brings together the creative and digital aspects of marketing and ties it together with the art of dance. Her passion is helping brands realize their full potential through digital marketing, content creation, social media, and advertising. Io loves connecting people with creative ideas, which nourishes her passion for marketing. 

 

As a graduate of American University in Washington, DC, and DMV native she decided to start her early career in the area of creating marketing content for AARP’s Create the Good brand, as well as recently developed a marketing campaign for client Niantic (the founders of Pokemon Go) through RedPeg Marketing agency. She has managed multiple campaigns for large organizations and worked as an account manager for many marketing and IT clients.

 

Io has directed and produced short films for video competitions at Norfolk State University, contest campaigns for AARP, as well as creating personal travel videos while abroad. She is also the Marketing Manager at Black Girl Ventures. In her free time, her creative side includes writing, photography, producing short films, and DJing.

Aleksandar Bozic

Has over 5 years of experience as a Virtual/Personal Assistant, Email, and Instagram Marketing Expert. 

 

Aleksandar is well versed in many aspects of working on administrative projects such as returning emails and similar tasks, providing various levels of customer service, typing documents, web research and data entry, and taking notes. He serves as a point of contact for other team members, manages blogs and Instagram accounts, and collaborate with writers, graphic artists, and designers. He gives advice on best business practices, builds teams, and recruit other virtual assistants, handle scheduling, and delegate daily tasks.

 

Aleksandar has been successful in Email Marketing, Instagram Marketing, Virtual Administrator & Personal Assistant as well as Pre-sales. All the work Aleksandar does is fully organic done by him. He is very passionate about the work he does, a very professional, a skilled planner, and an organizer. Aleksandar helps enhance Evolution Dance Studio with his knowledge and expertise!

DuShaun Thompson

Clifton Dushaun Thompson (Movement Director for Evolution Dance Studio) known professionally as Dushaun Thompson, is an American actor, songwriter and pro-dancer from Richmond, Virginia. He graduated from Norfolk State University with a bachelors in mass communication and moved to Los Angeles to take his career to the next level. From Broadway to working with Disney Dushaun has hit stages all over the world and has now transcended his work into TV and film. Now Dushaun is using his gifts to motivate, encourage and be a positive impact in the industry.

Trevor Santos

Trevor Santos is a Melbourne raised dance artist (performer & choreographer). From humble beginnings as a self-taught dancer, Trevor has performed in live stadiums, music videos, and TV. Recently seen performing at the ICC T20 Women’s World Cup and at this year’s Aus Open. In 2019, Trevor danced for the sold-out Australian tour of ‘Matador The Show’ and has worked alongside artists Guy Sebastian, Missy Higgins, Sheppard, Kira Piru, Dual Manner, and Hangeng (2012 MTV world artist). With a decade of experience as an instructor and choreographer, Trevor has been able to teach in cities like Sydney, Gold Coast, Perth, Hobart, and even Beijing, China. More recently, he has been seen teaching classes in New York (HNH experience, Ripley Grier Studios), Malaysia (The Experience Dance Workshop, Freedom Dance studio), and in his hometown instructing at VDF (Victorian Dance Festival 2019).

 

A highly sought after teacher and choreographer, both locally and internationally, he is a significant figure in the Melbourne dance scene. Passionate in his craft, Trevor continues to influence a new generation of movers, embarking on some upcoming projects in 2021. 

Bridie Clark

Bridie Clark has been in the performing arts industry for over 25 years. She trained at the National Theatre Ballet School in Melbourne, Australia under the previous Artistic Director of Beverly J. Fry graduating in 2010 with an Advance Diploma in Dance (CUA5011) she often returned to the National to teach and perform in various performances while working within the industry in Melbourne until 2014. Bridie has been working with other dancers and choreographers from around the world for over 10 years. 

 

In 2014 Bridie moved to New York City after receiving a scholarship to AMDA, another opportunity arose for her to further her career in New York through Peridance Capezio Center where she graduated their independent studies with High Honors in 2017 while performed and working with various artists such as famous Tap dancers Jason Samuel-Smith, Ballerina Misty Copeland, Sue Samuels' Jazz Roots Dance Company as well as The Colombian Dance Company of New York and many others. Bridie has performed in various shows, galas, musicals, films, productions in Australia and United States including Cats, 42nd Street, The King & I, Cabaret, Still Waiting in The Wings and The Water Stinger Bridie was also requested to be a featured dancer in the Phoblographer LLC and Canon photoshoot in 2018. Bridie has trained many dancers over the years and many have become successful artists and performers within the industry and she continues educating all dancers and performers on how to make it within the industry. The Australian Dancers Project was founded on the principle to give dancers and performers an opportunity to experience what it is like as a professional artist as well as offering dancers and performers a chance to learn about the industry from professionals within the industry.

Erica Powe

Erica Diane Powe is trained in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, musical theater, and hip hop dance. She began dancing at Creative Dance Center at the age of 3 under the direction of Joyce Mosso Stokes. She has also trained at the Dance Theater of Harlem DC residency program as well as their summer intensives. The other summer intensives and dance programs she trained at are Atlanta Ballet, The Washington School of Ballet, and the Dance Institute of Washington. Erica graduated from Baltimore School for the Arts and went on to study dance at SUNY Purchase College and Towson University. She has worked with many artists such as the late Arthur Mitchell, Jessica Lang, and Robert Garland. Currently, she is a professional dance instructor teaching in the DMV area. 

Bree Munnery

Bree is a professional performer and choreographer from Melbourne. She has trained for 18 years, with two of those years as a full-time dancer, professionally training with some of the industry’s best-known choreographers. She has trained in Jazz, Commercial, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Broadway, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Heels, Urban, Hip Hop, Acro, Acting and Singing.

Bree has also danced and trained overseas in the USA. She’s danced in Disneyland, Hollywood Blvd, and New York training in world-renowned dance studios such as The Broadway Centre and Millennium Dance Complex. Bree has choreographed and performed in music videos and performance gigs around Melbourne and Sydney with emerging artists and strives to provide incredible opportunities for other dancers. Bree has worked with Hybrid Dance Company in producing a dance piece for the Sydney Raw Showcase and been a part of other performance opportunities with them. Bree has also choreographed and performed in many school musicals as well as performed in the musical “Fame” through Stage Masters Productions.
 
Throughout her training, Bree has successfully achieved a Diploma in Elite Performance in Dance (Performing Art), Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management, and an acrobatic accreditation through Acrobatic Arts. She wants to provide the best for her students and is continually upskilling herself and her other teachers to enable the best quality training for all who join DPR.
